Elios EBC 115 V series: when 230 V isn’t available
Most wall-mounted heat pumps run on 230 V. The 115 V EBC 12,000 BTU series is a good option when adding a 230 V circuit is complicated, for example in some apartments or offices. It heats down to −20 °C according to the manufacturer; we check with you whether it suits your space and electrical panel.
All our Elios models use R-454B refrigerant, offer optional WiFi and carry a 10-year compressor and parts warranty, with 1 year of labour.

Do Elios heat pumps heat at −30 °C?
The Elios EMC series keeps heating down to −30 °C according to the manufacturer, with up to 100% of its rated capacity at −15 °C. The 115 V EBC series runs down to −20 °C.
Is a 115 V heat pump as efficient as a 230 V one?
Voltage alone doesn’t determine efficiency: the Elios EBC 115 V is rated 21.3 SEER2. It’s mainly useful when 230 V isn’t available; its capacity and minimum operating temperature must match your space.
What warranty do Elios heat pumps carry?
Our Elios models are covered for 10 years on the compressor, 10 years on parts and 1 year on labour, with installation by a certified technician.
Elios EMC 12,000 or 18,000 BTU: which one?
The 12,000 BTU model usually suits a main room or a condo living room; the 18,000 BTU targets a larger open area. Insulation and windows matter as much as floor area: a technician confirms the capacity during the quote, for free.
